US Files Discrimination Action vs HOA, Management Company & Property Manager
Minnesota – United States District Court – Case Filing.
The U.S.A. has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court, District of Minnesota against a condominium homeowner’s association, the company the serves as the association’s property manager, and the individual that acts as the property manager alleging that they all discriminated against families with children in violation of the Federal Fair Housing Act (42 USC §3604). The lawsuit alleges that the association, property management company, and the property manager adopted and enforced policies that discriminatorily limited or prohibited children from playing in the complex’s common grounds.
